21. John Connor's Scars

Connor's speeches suggest this really is the final throw of the dice for humanity: as he says "humanity dies with us", and the last stand looks like the resistance's attempt to infiltrate the Skynet facility that was used to send the Terminator back to Sarah Connor's past in the original Terminator movie timeline. It will be interesting to see if we get to find out how Connor got those scars, but it's still a strong design decision even without context.
