TERROR TRAIN remake gets early poster

The original was dubbed HALLOWEEN on a train, but this teaser hints that the remake could be more like SAW on a train.

TRAIN, the remake of the 1980's horror TERROR TRAIN that was dubbed "HALLOWEEN on a train" (the original even went as far as casting Jamie Lee Curtis) has leaked an early teaser poster online. The project which probably came about because of the recent HALLOWEEN remake, has Thora Birch leading a bunch of unknowns for director Gideon Raff. It seems they dropped TERROR from the title thinking it probably sounded a little cheesy. They are probably right but come on, TRAIN is such a boring title and it tells us absolutely nothing about the movie apart from that it's set on a train. The movie basically is a slasher film, as several American athletes board a train in Europe only to be sliced and diced by a several killer. Gotta love the poster, even if it does have a bit of a SAW mentality. They should have kept the title TERROR TRAIN and gone semi-cheesy with this thing, like the horror flick TRICK R' TREAT. Serious slasher movies today don't really do so well.
