10. Unbelievable Physical Durability
Marvel ComicsSimply put - Thanos is almost impossible to hurt. The above image, in which Thanos is being bombarded with energy blasts by the Silver Surfer - a character whose energy blasts are powerful enough to destroy planets - shows the Mad Titan simply shrugging off the Herald's efforts by simply asking "are you through?" (to which the shocked Surfer simply replies "uh... yes"). Perhaps more impressive, despite the fact that it was one of the rare occasions in which he was genuinely beaten, is the time Thanos went up against Odin. The Allfather - a genuine god whose power is such that it can destroy entire galaxies - fired energy blasts at Thanos and, although Thanos was clearly hurt, he remained standing and when Odin asked "do you yield, villain?", Thanos defiantly replied "no". If any of the Avengers or Guardians of the Galaxy think they have a shot of hurting Thanos with basic physical attacks in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, they will likely be sadly mistaken.
