2. R.S.V.P - Clueless
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXwZTymlJlA Clueless recently celebrated its 20th anniversary and it remains as entertaining as ever. The classic teen comedy influenced fashion and language and launched the careers of actors like Paul Rudd and Alicia Silverstone. It also, surprisingly, delivered an important message about compassion towards refugees. During an in-class speech about the early 90s crisis in Haiti, Silverstone delivers the most passionate defence of displaced persons ever uttered by a speaker with bubblegum stuck to their finger. Her conclusion is particularly excellent: "May I please remind you that it does not say RSVP on the Statue of Liberty". Preach, Cher.
