The Amazing Spider-Man: 10 Things You Didn't Know

1. Gwen Stacy Might Die In Future Sequels

Whoa! I can't spoil anything that isn't written yet - at least for the films that is! For those who don't know, Gwen Stacy dies in the actual comics and stays that way. She was actually thrown of a bridge by the Green Goblin, but was saved by Spider-Man - or so he thought. He shot a web strand and caught her legs, but due to the whiplash effect, her neck broke and as a result, Peter found comfort in Mary Jane Watson. This moment is considered to be monumental in the Spider-Man comics and even comic history itself. It started an era of its own and quite frankly, it would send The Amazing Spider-Man film series over the edge. Not from a bridge of course. Speaking of, was there actually foreshadowing in the movie? I hope you learned something new as you're in line waiting for The Dark Knight. It's hard for this film not to be overshadowed by the juggernaut, but I can at least sit here satisfied knowing that The Amazing Spider-Man has left its own mark in the superhero film family.
