The Amazing Spider-Man: 10 Things You Didn't Know

4. Actual Stuntmen Were Swinging Over The Streets of New York

But why, you'd ask, would they need portable 3D cameras? Because they were actually throwing men out there on 200-300 foot rigs all in the name of capturing reality. They were even swinging people above real New York streets with real traffic. I don't know if I'd be peeing in my pants because Spider-Man was swinging above me or because I'd be scared if he fell, but it would be surreal either way. Andrew Garfield even took part in some of the stunts and was reportedly injured due to one. Talk about commitment on all the crew's part.
