The Amazing Spider-Man 2: 5 Actors That Could Play Harry Osborn

1. Michael Angarano

Somehow I've seen most of Michael Angarano's films because they're pitched to me as being something bigger, with greater stars, and then Angarano happens to be a supporting character in all of them. So it's by sheer chance that I became a big fan of his. When we talk about just dues he tops my list. He's definitely the most comfortable fit as far as playing it safe goes and I think that's okay. He's got a simple look that can be dressed up or down and has given some solid performances in both comedy and drama that show he's ready for the big time. He's played second fiddle for a long time and, chances are when you clicked "next" and saw his face you went, "Oh I know that kid." Yeah, he's always been "that kid." But he has the look and talent to made it into the A-list. It's not a stretch to see him championing his own franchise or becoming a star, but unfortunately that fish hasn't bitten yet. Disney's Sky High, though cute, doesn't count as him being given his chance at a Super Hero flick. That film came and went, and though I think it's actually pretty good, didn't give him star recognition as it relied on Kurt Russel for that. The Amazing Spider-Man franchise is acting a bit like, dare I say it, Twilight for the Marvel Universe. The two on incomparable, yes, but Spider-Man is the young, hot hero and these films are what will define the future careers of "young, hot" actors and actresses. Just as Twilight did for all three of those whoever they ares, Spider-Man flicks puts people on the cover on magazines like few other films can do and makes them appeal to all ages and generations because he's a timeless character. Maybe Angarano doesn't want all that, who am I to know what he wants for his future. All I know is that I think he's massively talented and has the potential to do a lot more than most young actors with the subject material. He's been given the back seat to a lot of other "more important" actors (Red State) and yet he always ends up being the stand out. (See Lords of Dogtown.) To be the best part of other star driven pictures definitely speaks volumes for how people perceive you and how well you handled your performance. He's ready to stop being "that kid from those movies" and is more than ready to have his name next to Garfield's and Stone's at the top of the billboards. Alright web heads, who did I miss? Disagree? Agree? Comments below true believers!
