6. Gwen Stacy Could Return

Yes, she's dead, and yes, the chances of her coming back are slim... but not impossible, apparently. If you saw The Amazing Spider-Man 2, then (and we're going to assume that you did), you'll know that Peter Parker's one true love interest and long-term girlfriend Gwen Stacy, played by Emma Stone, met her end in the climatic scene of the movie. This came as something of a shocker for cinema-goers, but it wasn't an entirely unexpected result. With Gwen dead, then, it's up to Peter Parker to move onwards with his life. But Emma Stone has hinted on a couple of occassions that Stacy could find her way back into Spider-Man's path, even going as far as saying: "There€™s a whole plot line that could happen that could bring her back.€ She's presumably referencing a comic book arc in which Gwen's DNA is cloned, along with Peter's dad, which allows the character to make a return.
