The short will be screened at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday and welcomes Lizzy Caplan and Jesse Bradford to the Marvel universe. Entertainment Weekly have released a teaser shot... The synopsis is as follows; Lizzy Caplan and Jesse Bradford star as a down-on-their-luck couple who find one of the discarded alien guns from the finale to The Avengers and proceed to make some incredibly bad decisions.Two S.H.I.E.L.D. agents (Maximiliano Hernández, returning from Thor and The Avengers, and Losts Man in Black Titus Welliver, making his Marvel debut) are given the job of cleaning up the mess and stopping this modern Bonnie and Clyde (not coincidentally named Benny and Claire.) Also a teaser poster has been released for the short film...
So The Avengers train shows no signs of stopping. Stuff like this makes it almost possible to forget a new Batman movie is about to land on our screens next week. Okay, maybe not but lets give the 'Earth's Mightiest Heroes' another few days to bath in their glory before the cape and cowl steals back the limelight shall we?
