7. Two Face
After a few shots at the moon, Two Face represents a character with a much greater chance of featuring in The Batman, having already been played on the big screen by Billy Dee Williams, Tommy Lee Jones and Aaron Eckhart.
After Nolan’s trilogy explored his origins so perfectly though, there’s a danger that Reeves might not want to put his own spin on the character when there are so many more with stories untold. We all saw how poorly things worked out for Jared Leto’s Joker, after all.
We wouldn’t need to start with the origins though, in fact it’s increasingly becoming a trend to ditch the played out ‘how they got here’ stories. Starting with an already two faced Harvey Dent could help Ali & Reeves’ potential Two Face stand out.
Ali is a powerful force to be reckoned with, and in many ways, Two Face is the perfect marriage of grounded intensity and comic book wackiness. It’s the same sort of balance Ali will be striking as Blade, so he’s definitely up to the task.
