The Batman: 10 Things Ben Affleck Must Get Right

3. The Action

It’s universally accepted that the warehouse infiltration in Batman v Superman was the singular greatest action scene featuring the Dark Knight in cinematic history. This was the ninja brawler seen only in the pages of the comics by greats like Frank Miller, David Mazuchelli and Capullo. Brutal, lightning fast and relentless this was a hero you wouldn’t want to meet in a dark alley and we can expect more of the same in The Batman.

Snyder is the master of kinetic and well-telegraphed action, so Affleck has a lot to live up to and it’s something he is yet to exhibit in his body of work. The promise of Batman and Deathstroke going head to head is one to salivate over with both exhibiting mastery over the martial arts and decades worth of experience. The warehouse sequence is the bar – hopefully Affleck and his stunt team can craft a sequence that leaves it in the dirt.
