The Batman: Dream Casting Matt Reeves' New Trilogy

3. Catwoman - Natalie Dormer

Game Of Thrones Margaery Tyrell
EW/HBO

If there's one thing Natalie Dormer's performance as the sadly departed Margaery Tyrell taught us all, it's that she's very capable of playing upwardly mobile, ambitious power players not against using her allure to rise up the ladder. And there was a certain feline quality to her more seductive and conniving moments that would work wonderfully in Catwoman.

Obviously, that's not to say that Selina Kyle ought to be overtly sexualised, but Michelle Pfeiffer's version of the character really tuned into a visceral power (which Uma Thurman's Poison Ivy then tried to steal) and it would absolutely work in Dormer's hands too.

Even the idea of her devastating wry smile is almost too good to resist as part of that characterisation and she's played characters with such depth before that it would be a great match.
