12. Batman Gets A New Armoured Suit

The Rumour

After he suited up in his battle-mode armour in Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, a new rumour emerging out of a Reddit "leaker" suggests that Bruce Wayne Batman will once more have an armoured suit in The Batman.

Apparently, one time simply wasn't enough, even though Batman didn't think it was necessary in the battle with Steppenwolf for some reason.

Response

Look, it's striking to see a man walking around in an armoured suit, but it's just not subtle enough and it distracts from Batman's whole "from the shadows" ethos. It also doesn't really fit with the idea of Matt Reeves trying to make something different from the DCEU's version of the character.

You don't differentiate by doing the same thing.
