The Batman Movie: 10 Characters Who Must Appear (And Who Should Play Them)
5. Dick Grayson - Asa Butterfield
In the event that Barbara Gordon appears in The Batman, seeing DC finally explore the Dark Knight's adopted family on the big screen may actually be a possibility. If this is to be the case, then the first of the character's costumed allies, Robin, must also be introduced.
Being the original boy wonder (unless you count the tale in which Bruce Wayne was depicted as the progenitor of the moniker), Dick Grayson is the obvious version to put in this film, even if it is just as a tease for a sequel, or a post-credits scene.
While no one else may look as much the part as Brenton Thwaites (who played the character in Titans) does, there are still plenty of talented actors that would be able to portray Grayson, with the best being Asa Butterfield.
Whether it be in The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, Ender's Game or the recent Sex Education, Butterfield has simply been brilliant, and though he may be known for playing more timid characters, his abilities mean that he would certainly be able to pull off the more outgoing nature of someone like the Boy Wonder.
