16. "This Is A Powder Keg... And Riddler's The Match"
We had to turn on the subtitles to understand this line. At first, it sounded like "this is about a game", but it's actually Bruce saying "this is a powder keg."
Now, there's a lot of Riddler in this trailer. It even seems like he could be the main villain of the piece, but what if this line is hinting that there's a greater power pulling the strings? What if Riddler is just a pawn - i.e. "the match" - working for a bigger, badder "powder keg"? Perhaps a shady criminal organisation like the Court Of Owls, or a singular entity like Joker.
Or, Bruce could literally be talking about an explosion Riddler is about to cause. He just has to say it in a way that sounds metaphorical, to send us over-analytical nerds down a theory-laden rabbit hole.
