The Black Pearl docks in Hawaii!!

Jack Sparrow's The Black Pearl has docked in Hawaii - the home of Lost, Waikiki Beach, Pearl Harbour, and importantly of course - a new Disney World resort to open next year. The latter I mention, just in case you wonder why they are filming over there. Anyway the below vid watching the Black Pearl sail at 10mph is actually quite interesting and actually newsworthy - giving us a big hint that the ship is taken over by Ian McShane's Edward Teach/Blackbeard, as it's his historical flag that flies high and proud at the top of the ship...

Filming takes place this summer. Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush reprise Jack Sparrow & Barbosa respectively, Penelope Cruz is the new female lead, Ian McShane is the villainous Blackbeard. Rob Marshall (Chicago, Nine) directs for a May 2011 release.
