The Bourne Ultimatum looks as shaky as ever

134poster.jpgThe Bourne Ultimatum trailer is online, you can view that for yourselves by CLICKING HERE. I don't know how this happened or where it truly originated (some say it's The Bourne Supremacy) but this shaky camera business for action movies has to go. Is it because they are trying to re-create the tension of watching a war report from Iraq, or something? The sequel made me sick with it's shaky camera work which somehow managed to infect one of the fight scenes in Batman Begins and the sequence suffered badly from it... and it made The Constant Gardner totally unwatchable for me. You can have a fluid camera that's not shaky. Take a look at scenes from Casino Royale and The Departed.... it's handled with style, elegance and directors who are 100% confident in their craft to shoot their actors and choreographed scenes steady... this just looks like an amateur filming. Paul Greengrass... your shaky camera did add to the feel of uneasiness and realism in United 93 but this is a FICTIONAL spy flick which is meant to entertain us, not make us feel like we are really there! source - aicn, yahoo movies
