9. Makeup Makes The Clown
I had no idea of the character. But the moment I was dressed, the clothes and the make-up made me feel the person he was Charlie Chaplin Who didnt love Jokers make-up job? Gone was the bath of pure, even coat of white paint and the neon green hair. Through many of the scenes, it looked like Joker had taken a paint brush, just closed his eyes, and hoped for the best. His suit looked like he had seen it in a thrift store, and started killing customers until he had one just like it, but just a bit in the chest for those cumbersome grenades. And this costume set The Dark Knight far apart from other portrayals of the Clown Prince. This one was rougher, cruder. He was never going to be cultured, immaculate, and the only reason he was at a gala was to kill someone. In short, Joker looked like himself.
