The Dark Knight Rises Sequel: 9 Actors Who Could Be The Joker

5. Aaron Paul

Aaron Paul€™s previous major role, as Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad, will probably be about the furthest you could ever imagine from The Joker, especially in the earlier series'. Throughout the show though, Paul has let a sort of destructive confidence flow through Jesse and combined with his uniquely Jokerish facial structure, piercing blue eyes and ability to convincingly look like he€™s about to lose his marbles, I€™d say he€™d be as fine a Joker casting choice as anyone else. Of course, if you know Paul you€™ll probably be used to the €˜Hey, Yo Mr. White, let€™s bounce€™ attitude of his character in Breaking Bad, but forget that and remember: he€™s an actor. If Nolan had looked no further than Ledger€™s performance in A Knight€™s Tale, we may never have gotten the interpretation of the Joker that we did. Maybe it's time for a different angle on the Joker?
