The Dark Knight Trilogy: 15 Best Moments

1. Interrogation

Where to start with this one? As powerful and shocking a piece of cinema you are likely to see in a superhero film for the rest of your life, the interrogation of the Joker by Batman stands out in a trilogy full of sublime scenes. The dialogue between the two is sharp and revealing, as the Joker questions Batman's morales and how he is really seen by the public. "To them, you're just a freak....like me!" This scene features some of Ledger's best acting, while Bale does a fantastic job of letting his Batman lose control. Finally, as Batman pummels his adversary with punches that you seem to feel in your seat, the Joker just laughs and laughs as the violins strain in the background, providing a masterpiece of tension and horror, as we glimpse the madness of the Joker crying "You have nothing to threaten me with...nothing to do with all your strength." Goosebumps. So there we have it folks. If there are any of these you disagree with, or any scenes or moments you feel should be included, do not hesitate to tell us in the comments below!
