The Dark Tower Movie: 7 Reasons Why It's A Terrible Idea & 1 Why It's Not

But€ Come On, It's EPIC!

DARK_TOWER_FILM_SERIES1-600x300 I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before, but the Dark Tower series is EPIC. It is EPIC in a way that most stories can only dream of being. It's perhaps one of the greatest long-form tales ever committed to paper and if done right, it will be an absolute GOLD-MINE for any studio brave enough to pick it up. Sure, there will have to be concessions made, but the story, the characters, and the conflicts between them are beyond merely breathtaking or incredible--they're downright unforgettable. With amazing modern advances in CGI, with an audience that is willing to shell out big bucks on a story told right, and with such an unbelievable rich source material to mine from, the right filmmaker could have a box office bonanza on his or her hands. If, that is, they are brave enough to tackle such an epic tale. If, that is, they remember the faces of their fathers. What do you think? Is the Dark Tower ever going to be adapted to film? And, more importantly, do you think it SHOULD?
