The trailer opens with a glimpse of Mid-World, though fans so far seem split on whether or not it's the land of Lud or Gilead.

The latter seems more likely considering that Idris Elba's Roland Deschain is narrating about the Gunslinger lineage, which has a firm link to Gilead given that Roland himself was born there.

Later on in the trailer, there's also another gorgeous wide shot of Mid-World, showing how nature has reclaimed a giant structure, helping convey an undeniably desolate vibe.

Above all else, it looks totally gorgeous, especially considering the fairly modest $60 million budget.
