1. It's Not The Best In The Series...But Still Mostly Great

The same question is asked every time a new Fast and the Furious movie comes out: is it better than Fast Five, and how does it rank in the franchise?

So far the consensus seems to be that though it's arguably the craziest of the eight films to date, it's not quite the best, ranking below Fast Five yet largely consistent with the thrills of the last two movies.

They're all so much fun that trying to decisively put one above the other is quite an arduous task, but rest assured that, with its eighth film, the franchise remains far away from the dubiousness of the rather mediocre second and fourth entries.

Could The Fate of the Furious be the fourth straight film in the series to score a Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes? That'd be pretty damn impressive (and from the response so far, seems rather likely too).
