First Ghostbusters Character Posters Are Online!

Four new Ghostbusters posters have popped up online, giving us awesome poses of the four main characters. The designs on these posters are just plain nice to look at, mostly shades of grey with some well-placed splashes of colour. Scroll down to check out Erin Gilbert (Kristen Wiig), particle physicist; Abby Yates (Melissa McCarthy), paranormal researcher; Patty Tolan (Leslie Jones), municipal historian; and arguably the coolest of the bunch, Jillian Holtzmann (Katie McKinnon), nuclear engineer. I think director Paul Feig and his cast and crew have handled the marketing on this just right, giving the internet a well-balanced amount of teases, hints and mystery to get people excited, fans and casual movie-goers alike. Even the naysayers are probably going to go and check the film out just to see if they were on the money with their senseless trepidation, which is fine by Sony, because that still means people are buying the tickets. Speaking of which, Sony really need a hit next year, after last year's leaks and a sub-standard box office performance in 2015. Feig looks like he was a solid choice to take the franchise forward, and whatever the case may be with the final product, it'll have been a bold move to head in the direction they've gone in.
