The Golden Age trailer

elizabeth-the-golden-age-0.jpgIt's been nearly ten years since Cate Blanchett took Hollywood by storm in her first high profile role for the period drama Elizabeth. The Australian actress received her first Oscar nomination of her career and she has truly never looked back. She has since won an Oscar of her own for The Aviator and just missed out this year for her role in Notes on a Scandal. You could certainly make an argument for Blanchett being the most talented actress of her generation. So a decade on and Blanchett has reprised her role of Queen Elizabeth I for the upcoming movie The Golden Age which also sees Geoffrey Rush reprise his role as Sir Francis Washington and Clive Owen join the cast as Sir Walter Raleigh. The movie comes out in October (U.S.) and November (U.K.) and you can see the new domestic trailer for the sequel by CLICKING HERE. The trailer shows too much and gives tons of scenes away for free but Blanchett looks as powerful as ever. There aren't too many actresses' who could carry a movie such as this on their shoulders. source - coming soon, msn video
