4. The Minions Short Is Totally Mediocre

The movie's 90-minute run-time includes a short film starring the Minions called "Yellow is the New Black", depicting the little yellow guys attempting to escape from prison.

Though the short's mercifully brief at just four minutes in length, it's sadly completely unimaginative and forgettable, doing nothing fresh or unique with the characters and just hoping that their inherent cuteness and appeal will be enough to satisfy.

There was definitely the potential to do something interesting here, but even for the fairly low standards of these undemanding short films, this feels especially lazy and low-effort.
