Wow. Either they are paying out of this world figures to attach these big names to
The Incredible Hulk, or the script and director
Louis Leterrier's vision is spectacular!
The Hollywood Reporter have got the scoop that one time Oscar winner and three time runner up
William Hurt has joined the impressive cast of the half restart/half reimagining Marvel movie The Incredible Hulk. Hurt is playing the main villain in the movie, General Thunderbolt Ross, the father of Bruce Banner's love interest Betty Ross who dedicates his life to capturing the big green monster. Along with Academy award recognized Willaim Hurt there is two time Oscar nominated
Edward Norton (Bruce Banner),
Liv Tyler (Betty Ross) and one time Oscar nominated
Tim Roth (as the secondary villain Emil Blonsky). What a great cast, can they get this one right? Outside of the big four (X-Men, Spider-Man, Superman, Batman) comic book movie adaptations have struggled to get a franchise going, not least
Ang Lee's movie Hulk four years back... let's hope they don't mess this up.
