14. The Non-Existent Time Travel Logic

The narrative logic in time travel movies can be slippery at best in even the best films of the genre, and Sharknado 6 proudly says "f*** it" to even trying.

The film begins with the presumed-dead Nova (Cassie Scerbo) and Bryan (Judah Friedlander) being inexplicably resurrected thanks to Gil, before it's revealed that the team needs to head back in time to stop the first ever Sharknado from happening...because reasons.

Apparently this will prevent the previously unheard of domino effect which has caused every subsequent Sharknado...or something.

During the gang's travels through time, random things periodically happen to the group, namely Bryan being temporarily turned into a black woman (Debra Wilson). Don't even bother questioning it: just go along for the ride.
