Sadly The Man From U.N.C.L.E. trailer didn't find the room for Jerry Goldsmith's classic orchestral theme song from the TV series, but it's only so that it can feature a bunch of era-appropriate music. Well, sort of €“ the main song that features is a modified version of Edwin Starr's Funky Music Sho Nuff Turns Me On, released in 1971. Close enough? Still, it's commendable that they stuck with some songs from around the time, in the age of tie-in soundtrack albums that are more focussed on up-and-coming artists. Hopefully this attention to detail carries on through the film...
