The Omen director finds The Book of Lost Things

jjj.jpgJohn Moore, the director of that hideous remake of The Omen last year has according to Variety, acquired the movie rights to John Connelly's fantasy novel The Book of Lost Things. This could very well be Moore's next film as his upcoming slate is currently clean.
Published last year, book centers on a 12-year-old English boy whose mother died and father remarried. When a portal to another world opens, the boy enters a land of beasts and monsters, where he must undertake a quest to earn his way back out.
Another quest movie about a young boy fighting off beasts and monsters? Do we really need another one of those?
