THE QUANTUM OF BOURNE - New, full length Bond trailer

"I don't think the dead care about vengeance"

The more and more I see of the Quantum of Solace, the more I'm absolutely convinced that the smartest move Columbia made was to hire dramatic helmer Marc Forster to work together alongside the best stunt coordinator in the business, Dan Bradley. They compliment each other so well. Forster has the eye for a great visual, and his scenes are brimming with atmosphere which works so well in tandem with Bradley's exciting and often breathtaking action sequences. Bradley is the guy whose work really shone in The Bourne Ultimatum last year and if you are making an action spectacular and don't have him on board then you are really doing your a movie a disservice. Premiering tonight over at Yahoo Movies, is the new trailer for Quantum for Solace... expanding on the teaser by a full minute and change. The action scenes look good, the dialogue strong, the characters all interesting. Bond has never had this much story to tell.

I really enjoyed this trailer. This is quite unlike any Bond interpretation we have ever seen before. He his hurt, emotionally scarred like never before. He wants answers, he wants revenge. Daniel Craig can hold a great amount of turmoil behind those eyes. And speaking of eyes, Mathieu Amalric's eyes are so damn unique and creepy and Olga Kurylenko's so vulnerable and seductive. The only quibbles I would have are some of the dialogue could be considered very spoiler-ish if you listen closely (particularly about people Bond can "trust") and the C.G.I. on one of the stunts is so out of place and pretty appalling. It's not something the movie needed Look for this one on October 31st (U.K.) and November 14th (U.S.). What a fascinating franchise this is to watch develop.
