The Single Greatest Thing In Each James Bond Movie

9. Goldeneye - The Ace Action Scenes

No Time to Die Daniel Craig

Goldeneye gets so much right that it's kind of hard to name the very best element, since there are many contenders. Still, as much as elements such as Pierce Brosnan's fantastic performance as Bond, the outstanding villains and the well-judged tone deserve praise, at the end of the day James Bond is, first and foremost, an action franchise, and oh boy, this movie delivers that in spades.

From the film's legendary opening stunt to its gripping finale, Goldeneye is a delicious cocktail of rip-roaring cinematic thrills that genuinely represents action cinema at its most exciting - especially during that exquisite tank chase scene. That is easily one of the best Bond set-pieces of them all.

Goldeneye deserves to be remembered as not just one of the best Bond films, but also as one of the finest action films of the '90s. And that's saying a hell of a lot, since that was an unbelievable decade for action cinema.
