The Single Greatest Thing In Each James Bond Movie

7. The World Is Not Enough - Elektra King

No Time to Die Daniel Craig
MGM

In The World is Not Enough, the film's key female character once again waltzed off with the entire movie. In this case, it was Elektra King (Sophie Marceau) who is, in one of the series' all-time great plot twists, revealed as the main villain of the film.

A superbly-written and brilliantly evil femme fatale played to perfection by Marceau, Elektra is not only a generally great villain but her unpredictable and interesting storyline lends the picture a lot of depth and a heightened sense of characterization. This is one of the many reasons why The World is Not Enough is so ridiculously underrated.

This particular film has many substantial qualities, but it's Elektra King who will really stay with you.
