The Single Greatest Thing In Each James Bond Movie

19. Diamonds Are Forever - The Elevator Fight

Every James Bond film has something great in it. Yes, even the really terrible ones, and Diamonds are Forever, the series' first dud, sure as hell established this trend.

Yes, Diamonds are Forever might be a badly-acted, poorly-scripted and stunningly dull spy flick that's too cringe-worthy and devoid of real excitement to work but it's still had an ace or two up its sleeve. The most prominent one is this kickass close-quarters fight scene in a lift.

Tightly filmed and terrifically violent, this is a wonderfully intense bit of action and it's one of the very few times Diamonds are Forever evokes the thrills that made all six of its predecessors so successful.

Unfortunately, aside from this, another great, terrifying scene where Bond is nearly burned alive and the admittedly gorgeous scenery, there is very little to praise in this disastrous Bond flick.
