The Suicide Squad: Ranking Every Task Force X Member From Worst To Best
6. Polka-Dot Man
How could you not have a soft spot for Polka-Dot Man? With David Dastmalchian playing the character to such a tremendous extent, you felt true empathy for him.
It's difficult to put Polka-Dot Man in a higher position, though. He didn't do much of note until the final act of the film, instead acting as a secondary character. It also didn't help that his superpower saw him fling deadly polka dots at enemies. This is hardly the power of a God-tier superhero, regardless of if it created a gorgeous visual.
He was one of two major names killed off by the movie's end, the other being Rick Flag. Regardless, Dastmalchian's portrayal of the character was executed with such conviction that you couldn't help but admire the character. He was killed while attempting to save the world from Starro; he had, in a sense, become everything his mother had always wanted him to be. A real superhero.
For those wondering - yes, Polka Dot-Man being ranked higher than Peacemaker did benefit from those brilliant scenes of a gigantic Mrs. Krill terrorising Jotunheim. Terrifying.
