The Suicide Squad Trailer Breakdown: 23 Things You Must See

7. Wait, Was That Uncle Lloydie?

Having watched The Suicide Squad's trailer hundreds of times by this point of this article, your scribe couldn't help but notice a suave gentleman who just so happens to resemble Lloyd Kaufman of Troma fame.

Of course, Kaufman and writer/director James Gunn have long been friends - with Gunn getting his start in the business working on Troma heavy hitters like Tromeo and Juliet, and Terror Firmer.

Similarly, the ever-charming Uncle Lloydie had cameo appearances in Gunn's Slither and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1. As such, seeing him make a fleeting appearance in The Suicide Squad doesn't sound all that crazy.

As Task Force X are shown letting their hair down in this first trailer offering, a chap resembling Kaufman can be seen in the background. And if it's not Lloyd Kaufman, he's certainly got one hell of a good doppelganger.
