The Suicide Squad Trailer Breakdown: 23 Things You Must See

16. Weasel Doing Weasel Things

The Suicide Squad Harley Quinn
Warner Bros.

It's not just Savant and Blackguard who are holed up here, for we also get a fun look at Weasel doing Weasel things - in this case, licking what appears to be a cell window.

You wouldn't know it by looking at him, but Weasel is played by Sean Gunn.

Sean is the younger brother of director James Gunn, and he's previously appeared as Kraglin in the Guardians of the Galaxy pictures in addition to also providing the motion capture for Rocket Raccoon.

As for Weasel's comic book roots, John Monroe was a mocked youngster whose rage and torment turned him into a murderous villain who donned a weasel outfit. Eventually caught and locked up for the murders he'd committed, he'd became part of the Suicide Squad... up until Rick Flag killed him!
