The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent Review: 7 Ups & 3 Downs

6. Pedro Pascal (Almost) Steals The Show

While there's no denying the brilliance of Cage's performance in this movie - and we'll get to that in a moment - the show is very nearly wrestled away from him by his co-star, Pedro Pascal.

The enormously likeable Pascal is an utter hoot as Cage's uber-wealthy super-fan Javi, demonstrating a fawning love for Cage that many viewers will likely find all too familiar.

Despite Javi's involvement in a criminal enterprise, there's a strange wholesome stupidity to his character which Pascal exploits for outrageous laughs again and again.

If nothing else, Massive Talent proves that Pascal desperately needs to star in more comedies, because he's got a real natural knack for it.
