2. Wolverine Saved By An Unlikely Hero
After the Silver Samurai is defeated, Viper lets loose with her experimental ray gun. Wolverine exhausted by the battle with the Silver Samurai doesnt have enough strength to save himself and Mariko. Fortunately Rogue steps in to take the hit for them. At that time in the comics, Rogue has super strength and flight so is able to fly in and push them out of the way. Vipers gun then overloads so she teleports away. In order to save Rogue, Wolverine transfers his healing powers to her with a kiss. It is quite unlikely that this part of the story will play out the same way as it did in the comics. It would be great to see Rogue with some powers finally, and to come to the rescue of Wolverine but it is a very slim possibility. We can only hope.
