Empire Magazine have rustled up two new images from James Mangold's hugely anticipated Wolverine reboot, The Wolverine, which show off Hugh Jackman as the titular character, decked out in a flashy new suit. Though we're expecting to see plenty of claw vs. samurai sword action, given that the The Wolverine is largely set in Japan - and is going to follow one of the character's most beloved comic book arcs - it's clear that Logan takes a little breather at some point, or perhaps he just wants to kick some samurai ass in style. Unfortunately, he's not wearing
that signature Wolverine suit, but we think you'll agree it's still something pretty swish nonetheless. It's difficult to speculate too much on the context of these pictures, and one can't suggest that the bottom image follows the top, given that Hugh Jackman appears to be wearing different trousers in the second picture, though the varying colour tint of each image and various other on-set factors don't discount this completely. We suspect Wolverine shows up at a restaurant or an opulent hideout for one of the big bad guys, decked out in civilised clothing - though evidently forgetting to shave - before being forced to unleash Hell with his adamantium claws. The film, set to open in the US and UK on July 26th, co-stars an international cast including Will Yun Lee, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima and Brian Tee.
