Loki Thor 2 One thing that confused me about watching Game of Thrones for the first time (I was shamefully late to the series) were all the people beforehand who told me; 'Stick with it, it may take a few episodes to get into but you'll love it eventually.' Uh, no. Episode 1 starts with a forest full of mutilated corpses and ends with a child being hurled out of a window. It literally had me at, erm... 'Forest full of mutilated corpses.' The Dark World ends on a similarly gob-smacking cliffhanger, with - wait - Loki is alive? And he's bad again? And Odin is dead or what? Quick, load up the next episode! Oh, crumbs, the next episode isn't even at scripting stage yet and will likely not be released for another two years. Oh well, I guess that's one way in which they differ.
