Thor: Love and Thunder is shaping up to be one of the most exciting projects of MCU's Phase 4. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie will have an "Avengers 5 feel", probably due to its big cast and surprises.

In the past few weeks the outlet broke the news of Chris Pratt's Star-Lord and Vin Diesel's Groot joining the cast. The two key members of the Guardians of the Galaxy were last seen on board of their ship at the end of Avengers Endgame with Thor.

The cast of Love and Thunder will also see Natalie Portman's return as Jane Foster, who will become the Goddess of Thunder and lift Mjöllnir, and Christian Bale in a mysterious role, widely expected to be the villain. An A-list casting for sure.

The movie will once again be directed by Taika Waititi after the box-office success of Thor Ragnarok. Production will begin shortly in Australia, while the release date has already been confirmed by Marvel as February 11, 2022.

Thor: Love and Thunder could be a true appetizer for fans while waiting for a brand new Avengers movie.
