Thor: Love & Thunder: 10 Questions It Leaves Unanswered

One of the more unexpected - if relatively minor - revelations in Love and Thunder is that Korg (Taika Waititi) has two fathers, which would be very much welcome were it not for the fact that it seemingly contradicts Korg's origins in Thor: Ragnarok.

In Ragnarok, Korg mentions that his attempts to start a revolution failed because he failed to print enough pamphlets, and so only his mother and her boyfriend showed up.

So, if Korg has a mother, what's the deal with having two dads as well?

In the comics the Kronans - Korg's race - are entirely male and capable of reproducing by sitting in a lava pool together for several days, with the latter fact also being mentioned in Love and Thunder.

But the question still remains, what happened to Korg's mum?

Perhaps Korg was adopted, or maybe Kronans in the MCU are able to change their sex at will, and so his mum is also one of the aforementioned dads?

Taika Waititi really needs to answer this one ASAP, because the lack of consistency here is agonising.
