While most surely expected Russell Crowe to only appear for a few minutes in the movie as Zeus, he actually has a fairly substantial part, showing up for around 10 minutes of screen time.

And boy, does Crowe clearly relish the opportunity to play the larger-than-life Greek god.

With a ridiculously hammy accent and kitted out in gold armour and a white skirt, Crowe is evidently having a whale of a time playing a cartoonishly over-the-top, arrogant take on Zeus, who seems far more concerned with organising his next orgy than worrying about Gorr.

In a thoroughly silly sequence, he clearly understood the assignment.
