And finally, it's the one moment from Thor: Ragnarok that absolutely nobody saw coming, that's sure to go down as one of the most unforgettable MCU scenes to date.

When Thor returns to Asgard, he finds Loki running riot while disguised as Odin, and Asgardian actors are putting on a play for "Odin", detailing Loki's sacrificial "death" in Thor: The Dark World.

Hilariously, the actor who plays Loki is performed by Matt Damon, while Chris Hemsworth's brother Luke appropriately plays Thor, and Sam Neill (who starred in Taika Waititi's previous film Hunt for the Wilderpeople) appears as a totally spot-on version of Odin.

It was well-known that Neill had a role in the movie ahead of time, and Luke Hemsworth looks different enough in Thor regalia to be unrecognisable, yet an A-lister of Damon's stature appearing in an MCU film, as Loki no less? A stroke of mind-blowing genius.
