Thor: Ragnarok - 10 Questions None Of The Trailers Have Answered

Somebody in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has got Soul, but whom?

Solving the long-running mystery about the Soul Stone's whereabouts is one way Thor: Ragnarok could build a bridge leading directly into Avengers: Infinity War, and popular fan theories about the cosmic gem suggest this could happen.

The trailers, however, have given zero indication about whether the Infinity Stones will be addressed. At no point are they depicted, or even mentioned for that matter.

It would be hugely surprising if the gems don't feature in some capacity, considering the Space Stone is locked up in Asgard's vault and two Thor characters have been roundly tipped as the frontrunners for Soul Stone custodian.

Heimdall is the fan's favourite for this role, with internet theorists pointing to his fiery orange eyes (the same colour as the elusive gem) and and his ability to see "10 trillion souls" from his post in Asgard as evidence to support their claims.

A more recent theory, however, posed the idea of Odin being in possession of the gem, concealing it behind his covered eye and using it to power his 'Odinforce'.

Given that these two theories are the best anyone has come up with, there's a good chance Thor: Ragnarok will address one of the MCU's biggest mysteries in a bonus twist that hasn't been hinted at in the trailers.
