Thor: Ragnarok - 10 Questions We Still Have

Asgardians may be immortal (sort of), but Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston are not, so they cannot keep reprising their roles indefinitely, as much as the fans would like them to.

Hemsworth has two movies remaining on his Marvel contract after Ragnarok - Avengers: Infinity War and its sequel, and Hiddleston is rumoured to be tied to a similar deal, so the question everyone wants answering is will they be renewing their contracts?

If the answer is no, then Ragnarok will be our final Thor solo movie, at least with the original cast involved.

There are rumours that Marvel will use Infinity War and its follow-up to usher out the old guard, which means Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans and the rest of the series mainstays could be moved on in favour of bringing fresh talent and new heroes into the MCU.

Marvel is keeping mum about its post-Phase 3 plans because they're so spoilerific, apparently, but the fans are eager to know whether they include the enduringly-popular Hemsworth and Hiddleston.
