Obviously, the biggest assumption (and the one easily regurgitated) is that Loki will once more return to terrorise Asgard. He was, after all, on the throne in disguise as Odin, and that would count as a fairly loose end. But he might not be the only villain. Despite the precedent for problems that come with double-stuffing villains into comic book movies, and there are some compelling rumours that any number of big bads from a long-list including Enchantress, The Executioner, Surtur, Hela and the Midgard Serpent will turn up. Hopefully not all of them though. The Evidence A lot of the talk came from a Twitter account called SuperheroReport, which has now been suspended, so maybe take this one with an almighty pinch of salt. Especially since the idea of watching Thor battle another gigantic serpent-like monster actually feels like old hat now after the first Avengers finale.
