9. Thor Might Appear In Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 First
Last we saw of Thor, he was going to explore more about Thanos and the Infinity Stones to try and stop Asgard going to Hela in a handcart. On that journey - and before he discovers that Loki is impersonating his father - there needs to be some exposition and some allusion to Thor as the MCU's detective. It would make sense that he will follow the trail to the Guardians Of The Galaxy, since their Infinity Stone is on Xandar (and they were the last people to see The Collector before part of his collection - possibly including The Aether - exploded), before he remembers the Tesseract is on Asgard under the protection of one of Thanos' known allies. So expect a cameo in Guardians leading up to Ragnarok. The Evidence It's a fan theory, really, that came from a CBM user, but it's actually pretty compelling. And there are significant ties between Thor and the Guardians: Thor is currently on his way to find out more about Infinity Stones and two of his military partners dropped off the Aether to The Collector after the credits in The Dark World. If that doesn't come back into play, it will be a strange loose end, especially since there was no mention of the Aether in Guardians Of The Galaxy. The Guardians would probably have been interested in hearing about another Infinity Stone given that they'd just felt the supreme power of one of them inside them all.
