15. New Helmets

There are two big helmet references in Thor: Ragnarok (and no, neither of them is the gag about Thor being pulled off by Mjolnir that was so unnecessarily spoiled before release).

Thor's special helmet can be seen in his battle outfit, and is, of course, based on the helmet his comic book counterpart wears as part of his everyday outfit. This is the first time he's worn one since he sported a ceremonial one in the first Thor movie.

The rest of his armour is based on Jason Aaron's contemporary Thor comics.

Meanwhile, Loki's new headpiece is taken from the design of his "crown" in Loki: Agent of Asgard.
